Bead Selection Guide
Accuscrub exfoliation beads are provided in many polymer types, degrees of hardness and particle size ranges to suit any application needing an exfoliant. It is common to incorporate different bead types or sizes to achieve a specific function, feel and appearance. Most typical loading range from 1 – 10% and is determined by the final products intended function, feel and appearance. HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) – Very hard, irregular in shape, very functional LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) – Softer, relieved edges of particles, less harsh functionality, best suited for sensitive applications and hard surface cleaners The following chart references our uncolored beads for suitable size and functionality selection. Any listed bead is or can be supplied in any of our available colors.
